Not Dead
Many things going on. Two of my home PCs had hardware failures. Annoyingly, both were Windows boxes and both were used for maintaining Aqoul (one as a backup for the other). So, apologies for the delay in setting up Ibn Kafka's new home, should happen shortly.
Otherwise, work continues to infringe on my personal life but I'm hoping to finish off that Infidel review tonight.

You know just what to say, don't you?

The fact that you have multiple home PCs never ceases to crack me up.
What's the count these days? Please include the total of any partial PCs that could be cannibalized to make a complete functional PC (preferably describing their origin and what would be needed to make them functional).

But before doing the PC thing, do the Infidel thing.

Err...what's wrong with owning multiple PC's ? I have three PCs, a Mac and a laptop, not counting several at work. Oh, and an Xbox360 and some handheld device that now languishes in a drawer.

Oh, nothing at all wrong with it; some of my best friends are geeks. Hell, who are we kidding? Practically all of my best friends are geeks. In fact, my first computer was a Frankenstein monster that was assembled from parts from half a dozen different friends’ closets, which they brought to another friend’s wedding in their tux pockets and assembled after the reception, finishing around dawn, aided by many liters of Mountain Dew. (The groom at that wedding actually snuck out of that reception to play Magic in his hotel suite.) It’s just that as a person primarily of liberal arts orientation, I find it all highly amusing.

Evidently time is becoming highly elastic.

Well, you know, creationist Barry Setterfield does claim that there has been a rapid decay in the speed of light. Maybe the Young Earth Creationists have had it right all along :D.

Perhaps the self-proclaimed "Hot Back-up" could use a back-up of any temperature for her blog.

Elastic? Like taffy.

Indeed.

Ha ha.
Work is eating my personal life. I think it's mostly over now. Mostly.
